Under no circ*mstances will tips be accepted after a game has commenced. If tippers do not enter tips for a game, round or join after the season has commenced they will be allocated the default score.

Tippers will be firstly ranked by their weekly score, where the highest score is the highest rank. Weekly winners will be determined by the user's weekly score for the round, then by a tippers 'Round Margin' and then by their 'Total Margin'.

ALL CORRECT BONUS: Get all tips correct in a round and you'll receive 2 bonus points to your regular tipping score. If you forget to tip you will receive the LOWEST COMPETITION SCORE FOR THE ROUND. Tips cannot and will not be accepted after the round has started. No exceptions.

Footy tipping, or AFL tipping, is a competition in which you try to guess the winners of AFL matches. Before a match starts, all participants make their guesses. Those who pick correctly are rewarded with points. Tipping competitions run as long as the AFL season.

If you pick the winning team, but not the winning margin, your 'Round Margin' will equal the difference between the actual game margin and the margin you tipped. If you tip the losing Team, your 'Round Margin' will equal the points/goals difference of the actual game margin PLUS the margin you tipped.

Each tipper gets 2 Joker rounds of their choice during the regular season to gain double points. just click on the joker button when putting your tips in. Forgetting to tip results in the lowest score minus 2 points and there is a 2 point bonus for a perfect round.

Footytips usernames can only be updated via the website. Once you have logged in, you can find the option to update your display name under "Settings" > "My Details" > "Display Name". Please ensure you hit update once you make your change.

AFL LAST MAN STANDING Optional

Once you get to the last 18 rounds, players can only pick a team to win once. E.G. They need to pick all 18 teams over the remaining 18 rounds and if their selection loses they are out. Draw – if a game ends in a draw then all players get a win and stay in the competition.

Your margin total for each game is the distance between the predicted margin and the actual margin. If tips are not entered before the start of the game, the away team will be awarded and a margin prediction of 0 is applied.

If you don't put your tips in you will get the away teams. Keep in mind that if you don't put your tip in for the first game in time, you can still add the rest of your tips for the round.

If consistency is your thing, then Minimum 5 is for you. From round 11 onwards, you remain in the running to win as long as you tip at least five winners correctly for the rest of the season. This can be tricky in the bye rounds, but if you're successful, the $1000 prize could be yours!

Tippers have 100 flexi-points to allocate to any team each round. If the team wins, points are allocated by multipling the flexi-points allocated by the betting odds!

Under the 'Filter Ladders' subheading, select 'Who Tipped What' in the 'Ladder' drop-down box, and click 'Filter'. You can select which round you would like to view tips for by clicking the 'Round' drop-down bar.

If you select a team in a drawn match you will receive no points for the match. A score margin is required to be entered for 1 game within the round.
