Two longtime friends who together managed $500m in client assets at First Republic Bank — and then JP Morgan — have launchedtheir ownpractice through LPL Financial’s Strategic Wealth Services division, LPL announced Tuesday.
Tim Woodall and Dustin Raring, based in Newport Beach, Calif., have formed Highway One Capital, named after the legendary coastal route running from Mendocino County to Orange County.
Woodall and Raring teamed up in 2012, while both were at UBS, and primarily serve business owners and high net worth multigenerational families, according to LPL. The pair are joined by client support staffer Taylor Ford.
